Meet our Ministry Team & Board of Directors

Christopher Wright is currently the President of the Board of Directors for SFSWA. Christoper is married, has four children with a perfectly planned order of girl, boy, girl, boy. Christopher spent 30 years in full time ministry in Christian Broadcasting, 25 years of which was with Moody Radio, winding up his career with 107.9, KMBI Moody Radio Spokane. He is enjoying the second part of life as a partner with the local wealth management firm, Integrated Financial Services. Christopher has been a member of Spiritual Formation cohort led by Paseo Ministries, and is currently a student in the Spiritual Director program offered through Stewards. “Terra Divina” and “Lectio Divina,” contemplating God in nature and the contemplative reading of Scripture, are Christopher’s favored disciplines to connect with God.

Terry Andres is currently a member of the Board of Directors for SFSWA and a member of the Ministry Team. He is married, has two grown daughters and five grandchildren. Terry had a 28-year career as a Clinical Kinesiologist providing physical restoration services to injured workers. He also developed a soul restoration ministry serving as Spiritual Formation Director for 10 years at a local Christian church and leading Spiritual Formation workshops for 12 years at Genesis Institute. Terry is a Spiritual Director and currently co-leads a Spiritual Formation Cohort in collaboration with Paseo Communities. Terry has been deeply impacted by his sacred romance with the Trinity and believes ‘Never Give a Sword to a Man Who Cannot Dance.’

Shirley Bland is a member the SFSWA ministry team. Her ministry career began with the challenge,”To know God and make Him known.” She served in South Africa, overseeing 100 plus staff members; Community Development in Lavender Hill followed. In 2000, she joined Grace Ministries International in Atlanta, GA as a Discipleship Counselor. After years of striving to win God’s love and closeness, a transformational revelation occurred. The Holy Spirit lit up I Cor. 1:30, “Of GOD are you IN Christ…” You can’t get closer than that! No more spiritual gymnastics, now it’s “One-ing” with The Trinity, enjoying love enhancing, freedom producing life! After 50 years away, she returned to her hometown, Spokane, where she serves as Community Chaplain.

Linda Depew is currently a member of the Board of Directors for SFSWA . She is married, and has 3 children, 3 grandchildren, and one great grandaughter. Linda had a career at Houk Chiropractic for over 33 years. She served on the board, was the Development Director, and CEO for the former Genesis Institute. She taught Courageous Parenting for 17 years, while working at Genesis Institute. She soon will be a Certified Spiritual Life and Leadership Coach. Linda is passionate about helping people walk deeper in their relationship with the Lord! She is excited to be involved in SFSWA, and to see God work through this ministry.

Lesley Maxfield celebrates each day as a child of God, retired teacher and math facilitator, wife, mother of three sons and grandmother of four. She serves on the SFSWA Board as secretary and as a Spiritual Formation Collaboration Team member. Her determined purpose is to know and love the Trinity in union with others.

Krisi is the Director of the Spiritual Formation Society of Washington. She is passionate about helping people discover, experience and live out of their truest identity as a beloved child of God. That calling guides her work as director of the Spiritual Formation Society of Washington, and in her work as a spiritual director in the community and with CampusMinistries at Whitworth University. Krisi was trained as a director at Gonzaga University, and has training in and regular occasions to lead others in inner healing prayer. In these vocational expressions, Krisi finds joy in guiding others into a heightened awareness of Jesus’ loving presence and a deeper sense of His daily companionship. Krisi is married to Andy, director at Camp Spalding, where they have served for over 35 years. Ted Wueste serves as the Founder/Director of the Spiritual Formation Society of Arizona. For the last 30 years, he has served in various ministry capacities with 20 of those years serving in pastoral ministry. After serving as an associate pastor, Ted planted a church that he pastored for 9 years and then served as an Executive Pastor of Spiritual Formation for 6 years. Ted designed and taught in a Spiritual Formation program at Phoenix Seminary for seven years, and now enjoys a ministry of spiritual direction, retreat leading, and teaching. Ted is the coordinator for a spiritual direction training program in Arizona (Selah) and serves as Senior Faculty. He has written several books on the spiritual journey as well as devotionals and study guides that many have found helpful.
